How long would I need to soak the buckwheat groats if I used those? Great recipe.

Thanks, I will try it! I have a bag of buckwheat groats and have never worked with those. I’m allergic to oats ๐Ÿ˜

Hi, Fifi! I just take raw buckwheat groats and soak them overnight so I don’t have to think about it and they’re ready for me in the morning. I use a 1:2 ratio =)

Squishy..u not eat it heated? it would taste more like a fresh from the oven oatmeal cookie. ๐Ÿ˜›

I love the cool, frothy banana milk in this recipe. Let me know if you give it a try! =)

    • bri bart says:

i would have just added warmed milk instead of water..maybe made it into a smoothie! ๐Ÿ˜› hehe

Hi, Brain! By keeping everything raw, you maintain the integrity of each ingredient and its nutritional value. I would, however highly recommend soaked nuts and if you’re looking for a oat sub, definitely try buckwheat groats or quinoa. It’s amazing!
